This is what I think of the world.

It's frankly ridiculous.

We are, today, marking a year since the election of Trump in the States, and what better way for Britain to show it's support than for scandal and mass-resignation in the heart of Government. Whether sending an aide to fetch sex toys or pretending to be on holiday whilst conducting secret meetings, it seems like Britain is once more in a precarious position.

And whilst I once may have found the notion of a Conservative Government on the verge of collapse appealing, at the moment I fear that no good can come out of such an occurrence.

We are at a tipping point. Arguably the most important moment of our history with our withdrawal from the European Union is being written as I type this. Our relationship with our closest neighbours is yet to be defined over a year since 'Brexit', and we have fuck all to show for it.

At times of war, the UK has been lead by coalitions, compromising of all views and creeds, ensuring that through further compromise and discussion at the heart of decision making, the country can be as prosperous and successful as they can.

Instead, we're left with waring parties who have change ideology so often, borrowing each others' policy ideas and spinning them as their own.

It's frankly ridiculous.

But we're all supposed to go along with it, because that's what we should do.

Imagine however a country not only where Parliament was as diverse as the citizens who send MPs to Westminster, but that compromise and discussion was put at the centre of political leadership, especially at this time of need.

We could go into a discussion about proportional representation, but that's for another time. Instead, should this Government fail (with some predicting before the end of this year), there seems to be only one responsible course of action we should take.

By voting for no party to have a majority in the Commons, we can force our politicians to work together, forming a Government of rational thought, that compromised both Brexit and Bremain.

If we vote in a party to have a parliamentary majority, I'm sure that we are shooting ourselves in the foot. With the clock ticking, its up to all of us to fight for the sort of society we want to become. I feel that we should be open, tolerant and united. I fear that I once again may have nailed my colours to the wrong mast.
