This is what I think of the world.

What are we?

What are we, but a collection of people all aiming for greater things, as if that is our destiny. And sure, some of us will achieve greatness in some way, shape or form.

Over my adulthood, I've had some issues mentally. It isn't a cry for help to admit such, nor is it an attempt to play a victim. Instead, it is truly a challenge to myself to ensure that I am the best person I can be.

I promised myself, and got ink on my wrist to act as a reminder, that going forward I couldn't keep working for faceless companies where my own career was to facilitate a psychopathic boss' own ambition. Thankfully, I'm far away from that company now.

There is an idea, that we all are too busy to enjoy life, to challenge ourselves and to make sure that we are doing what we love. It's often easy to fall into the trap of completing the same commute to the same office and spending 40 hours a week sat at a desk.

But what is the point, if you don't enjoy it or it isn't leading anywhere?

Inside all of us is an ambition, a desire to be the best we can be. We may not all be Marie Curie or Martin Luther King, but each of us can change our world for the better. If only we make time.

So what am I doing about it? Well first, I am writing this, and consciously photographing the world around me. I'm updating my social media and you can follow me @jksees on instagram and twitter.

I'm writing and trying to understand myself and my thoughts. But most of all, I make time for the person I want to become and not the person I fear I am.

I know that I am super late to this whole blogging thing, but fuck it. I have been fortunate enough to find some words, and god damn it, I will commit them to something.

For now, JK.
